Pregnant with TWINS!

We just found out we are pregnant with Twins!

I was so shocked I was swearing at the guy doing the scan and DH telling me off for swearing in front of our toddler.

Apparently it must run in my family but I cant remember twins on my side.

Our whole life will need an upgrade. House, car, pram, beds, space....

I'm sure we'll manage. My only wish is for them to be healthy and happy.

Oh wow Luua, that is fantastic news, although I can imagine the shock LOL!! It doesn't seem that long ago we were in the same belly buddies group having our nearly 2 yos !! I wish you a H&H pg hun. Congratulations.

Thanks guys. We're not sure if they are identical or fraternal. The guy doing the scan said they can split after fertilisation. They do have their own egg sacks though so maybe fraternal.

My MIL hung a wooden peg on the end of a cotton string. It swung side to side (on its own) so she predicts boys! what a handful!

Trish - would love support. Thanks for your help but I'm in Sydney hun! I've got an antenatal GP who I saw when I had Ella and we went shared care. I'm not sure if its a whole different ball-game with Twins. I'm reading that an obstetrician is recommended...

Congratulations!!!
I have 5 year old fraternal twins - boy and girl. Can still remember finding out at the 12 week scan, same reaction as you.
Twins are very special, you are very lucky and you will enjoy every minute of them.
