Well....I am kinda lost for words. After five years, 3 miscarriages and several IVF/PGD cycles, it would seem we have done it the old fashioned way, au naturelle, no intervention required. Who would have thought you could get pregnant just by having sex!

I had honestly got to the point where I never really thought I would ever get to post in here but Wow! here we are...it's still early days and anything could happen but hey what the heck - It might the only chance I get to make a pregnancy announcement so I figure I'd better make the most of it!

Thank you to everyone from BB for being such a great support to me over the past 3 years.......it is this place that has kept me strong and on the right path when I thought all hope was lost.

So.........Let the knicker checking begin!!!
i am more thrilled for you than i could ever express

it happened to us AFTER i had completely given up hoping. the natural way as well.

enjoy every second of it Mel, it's YOUR turn.

Taking so long to conceive and having health concerns, made me take the pregnancy VERY carefully. So no lifting things, i stopped wearing any shoes that i could slide out of and trip in (like thongs), heaps of things i became SUPER careful about, didn't want ANYTHING to risk the baby. Made me realise, you become a mum LONG before the baby is outside you. You become a mum the moment you start changing your life, to suit the baby, when you eat stuff ON PURPOSE, cos you know it's good for the baby etc.

Pregnancy is different for everyone, but don't be surprised if even very early on, you feel very tired. Your body goes thru so many changes, early on in the pregnancy. you can't see many of them, but they are happening inside you.

With having miscarred previously, i guess you won't breathe easy, until you are OVER those same amounts of time, so let us know what those numbers are, so we can support you thru it. Ditch my preg. advice, i've just realised, you've been at this stage before, so you know the drill already. sorry lovely, i just got so excited for you, i forgot the obvious!

You are going to make the most fantastic mummy Mel!

have i told you how ecstatic i am for you and Geoff?

just the BESTEST news hon!
