Woohoo! BFP today!

Hi everyone,

I just had to share and get this written down somewhere before I explode! This was month 8 of TTC and I was getting to the point of "giving up". I'd cry every time AF arrived! This month, things were a little different, last AF was 17th May. Since then, I'd had barely any symptoms. Normally before AF (one week) I get very sore tender bbs and severe cramping. This time round, nothing until last night, when I had a weird tingle in bbs, and the last 2 days had some mild spotting and cramping. The cramping did feel slightly different and no where near as bad as normal. Only other thing I noticed was some weird dreams and that I felt a bit warmer than normal.

I've not been using OPKs lately, nor temping. I knew roughly when my fertile time was, and we only BD 2 x this month.

This morning was day 2 of no AF so I though at 5am when I got up to go to the toilet (which never happens) that it might be a good time to use my last HPT. Low and behold after staring at the stick for about 3 mins, a faint line started to appear. As I watched it got darker. Still a faint line but easy enough to see. I took a photo but you can't see it as well in the photo. I'm planning to test again tomorrow, then go to the doctor next week for a blood test and take it from there!

I posted here more than anything, to say to everyone TTC, that no matter how hard it seems, no matter what your problems are (I have endo, was on the BCP for 15 years am 27 and never had regular cycles) it can and will happen when your body is ready. So, keep your chin up and do what I did, convince yourself you deserve it, and I even resorted to saying thankyou for the experience every month, because it makes you want it so much more, when that baby is on the way, and born, it will have so much love because of the challenge to bring it to the world :-)
