Congratulations! This is my second pregnancy and I've suffered from extreme dizziness and faintness, including blacking-out from around 6-10 weeks both times. My understanding is that it is caused by low blood pressure which results from extra progesterone dilating your blood vessels. It's horrible and there is not a lot you can do except ride it out. It would be worth checking with the doctor, though, to confirm that is what it is
Looking forward to getting back so I can see the dr!! The dizziness has come back now-not as bad as yesterday but just coming on in waves!! Just trying to remind myself now it's for a very good cause!!
