6 wks and having a little bleed

    Hi everyone,

I'm 6w2d preg and yesterday noticed a pink stain in CF when I wiped after going to the toilet. Then last night, I had a sharp pain (like a needle) in my lower, right abdomen. This pain occurred 3-4 times. Went to the toilet this morning and this time bright red CF when I wiped. I'm not at home at the moment so I went to the Womens and Childrens Hosp in Adelaide (who have been so lovely to me, BTW!).

MW had a chat and took some blood...DR checked me internally and said that there wasn't much bleeding and my cervix was closed- good signs. She did an external US but couldn't see much so she has booked me in for a transvaginal US this afternoon. She was concerned that my last HCG (571 at 5w2d) was a bit low.

I havent had any MS and didn't with DS either but I think my BB have become less tender than they were.

I'm going from being really positive about this having read so much about other women going through the same thing to feeling like M/C is ineveitable.

Anyway, just having a vent...thanks for listening.

    Praying for a great result

Bleeding in pregnancy can be so scary. But it doesn't necessarily mean a m/c is iminent. My sister had a lot of spotting early in her 2nd pregnancy and went on to have a healthy baby girl and lot of other women on BB have similar stories to tell.

Best of luck this afternoon at the scan, I hope it all goes well .

Just got back from the hosp. The US found nothing in my Uterus except for a tiny, tniy sac- too small to be consistent with my dates. And 3 cysts on my left ovary.

HCG was only 1107, last Tuesday it was 571...so looks like I have m/c.

    I am so sad.
