I thought I'd write this in a separate topic.

I had a internal scan yesterday to check for heartbeat (pg thru IVF) but no heartbeat detected. It's pretty much 7 weeks since O.

Sac seemed slightly smaller than normal, but the right proportions, no inflammation or bleeding around it so scanning guy thinks it might jsut be too early to see yet. Maybe the embryo just floated around for a few extra days before it implanted.

Has this happened with anyone else?

When should I go for another scan to check, when it won't be too early?
