Big hugs. It is disconcerting when you loose the symptoms. I lost mine at 10 weeks and I hadn't felt so normal in weeks. They came back again in week 11.
The most reassuring that I can do it have a scan and hold my breath until I hear the heart beat. I know that doesn't help too much because you have to wait a few days, unless of course you can bring the appointment forward or see your GP and get a referral for a scan elsewhere.
I don't know much a POAS at this point. I thought the HCG levels start to drop at some point and I thought it was at the end of the first tri (I could also be wrong on this one). Althought perhaps it would still show up and it probably wouldn't be gone completely at this point.
I know what it's like to worry about all things along the way. Hopefully all is good for you and you've lost the terrible morning sickness business early.
