    Babies Heart Rate?

Hi, I had my first scan today. Im 7 weeks and we could see the heart beating and hear it. It was 141bpm. Is that normal? does anyone know a good website that talks about heat beats? Thanks

    Hi erybery! Congratulations
I believe between 120 & 160 bpm is the optimal range? So it sounds like your little one is right on target.

    Nice HB rate

I'm apparently 6wk2d and I just had my scan today - HB measured between 120 + 130 (though DH thought he saw it stick consistantly around 122/123)

    Hi Erybery
The normal heart rate should be between 110 and 160. It is acceptable for the rate to be outside this range for a short time. For example if your baby is very active ( later in your pregnancy) the heart rate may well get as high as 180 for a short period.
