Best home pregnancy test kit

Hi

Just wondering, what's the best brand for home pregnancy kit?

I was in the pharmacy on the weekend and happened to be near all the pregnancy test kits and there are so many different brands available.

Which is the best?



Just something I will need to know for later when I come to testing.

Al, I think you'd find everyone would swear by a different brand. I tried Fortel Ultra Early for a few cycles but got my best result with Clear Blue. (Maybe I just like to remember that one the best because it was my first BFP and it happened in the ladies' bathroom at work! *L*)

I like the fortel ultra early in-stream test. I got my BFP for this preganacy with one at 13dpo. The best feature is that it has a lid that you can put back over the bit you pee on so you can keep it as a souvenir without worrying about it being grotty. 8-[

Crystal Clear works well for me. With Kynan I got a BFP @ 10DPO using CC.

I used Fortel Ultra-early too and liked the lid on the stick! One of the other brands I've come across is just a cardboard strip and is quite thin to hold and aim for!! The Fortel one is encased in plastic so is easier to hold...

I have used Fortel Ultra and Crystal Clear and both were fine although I always got a stronger second line with the Fortel Ultra.

Hi

I have used the Fortel Ultra Sensitive test for all of my pregnancies and they have been pretty good.
Although having said that with my first pregnancy i did 5 tests and they all came back negative, but when i went to the Dr's a few days later i got a positive immediatley. I may not of had enough HCG in my system at the time of testing.
