If you dont think that you can make it over the weekend then can you go to your hospital ER? Thats what I did and they got me an u/s straight away and it really out my mond to rest.
They are very unlikely to not give an upset pregnant woman a quick ultrsound to make sure all is ok.
Tell them you've had a largish bleed, and want to check bub.
I have had multiply bleeds with this pregnancy. It started at week 7. I have had bleeding twice a week up until week 17, and then once this week. Eveything is fine though, but it is still really stressful. I hope that everything is ok with you and your bub. If you think you can't go the weekend, go to your local ER, preferably today or tomorrow, so they can take blood and do a scan. I hate the ER, been there 3 times with this pregnancy, but at least you'll find out and hopefully be reassured.
I don't think your GP should have said you will probably miscarry! He really can have no idea of that from a phone call and lots of ppl bleed during pregnancy and the baby is fine, The fact that there hasn't been much since is good.
my fingers are crossed for you...i really hope your little one is hanging in there ok. i know how scary ANY bleeding can be... i woke to brown spotting today, just had a scan, and all was OK in there, and they thought old implantation blood. I know some girls who have had heavier bleeds and things have been ok, so there is hope. sorry you are facing this stress.
