I bled dark blood for almost two weeks, I was convinced that we had lost our baby. On the third emergency scan (after being told that I had miscarriaged by my gp) the sonographer found not only a perfect, healthy little bub but that my bleeding was caused by a small hemorrhage. During my few hospital visits I spoke to many nurses who told me that bleeding is quite common in early pregnancy, I even had a nurse tell me she bled all the way through her pregnancy and had a perfectly healthy baby.
