Bleeding & in need of some positive stories

    Hey

i have just found out that i am pregnant but i have been bleeding for the last 3-4days. i had a bt today and my levels are still rising they are 237 (48hrs ago they were 101) and my progesterone is 60 ( they were only 15 before)

The bleeding is sort of strange, one minute when i do a wee there is nothing no blood at all, but then the next time i go do a wee there is alot of blood and its been going like that for the last 24hrs its strange its sort of heavy but then it stops completely for a few hours????? i have had 2 miscarriages before and this is nothing like them, i have no cramps or pain or anything like that. i just wish i knew what was going on
i have another bt on tuesday so i will have more answers then

so i suppose i just wanted to know if there is anyone out there that has experienced the same and went on to have a healthy little bubba.

Oh sweet, it's horrible isn't it?
I do know of plenty of women on here who have experienced bleeding in early pregnancy and they have gone on to have beautiful healthy bubbas.
I'm sure they'll come in and share their experience soon.
The fact that there's no pain or cramping is a really good sign!
I just wanted to give you big hugs and hope everything will be ok.
    Take carexx

hi there. i know your probably stressing but a lot a women have bleeding and bubs is fine. i had 2 m/c's but since them two healthy girls (bled ALOT with both of them) and now i am pg with a boy and this time i bled too. not huge amounts but it did keep coming and going. at 7 weeks, 1o weeks and 12 weeks, But all is fine.

try to relax. if your levels are rising and theres no cramping then thats a great sign.

    Hi hun,
I have had episodes of slight bleeding nearly every week since week 3&4 of this pregnancy. I have had several scans and bts and my ob has told me that there is nothing to worry about - I did have a blood clot inside my uterus that developed during implantation and this was apparently the reason for my bleeding (and this is common). I know that it is scary when you see blood but it is extremely common, and no matter what ppl say to you you will still have some degree of worry. If I begin to feel anxious, I tell myself "I am still pregnant until someone tells me otherwise" - surprisingly this works for me and reminds me that I need to be calm for the sake of my bub. Good luck hun, I know exactly how you are feeling

My cousin and grandma had normal AF for the first 4-5 months of pg.
I have had spotting with 2 of mine and gone on to have healthy babies.

Hun, I know how long you've been waiting for this. I hope that bub sticks for you. I had some bleeding with DS1 at 6 weeks, although it was old blood so not quite the same. But I know lots of others, including my sister, who've had red bleeding and had healthy bubs. So it certainly happens, and quite often I think. I'm sending you lots of sticky vibes hun. Try not to worry, those bt results are really good.

I've had bleeding on & off with this pg too.
I have had several m/c's as well, so I was terrified as I have never bled with my normal pg's. At the beginning the dr's just said it was the placenta settling in, but it continued on & off till around 7 weeks, & then started again at 16 weeks, which was a worry as it was the placenta coming away. But we're still going strong.

Oh darling I know how stressful this must be. And no matter how many good stories you read, you can't help but think the worst at times, too.

I started to bleed at five weeks with this pregnancy, and it continued continuously until fifteen weeks. There was no subchorionic haematoma, the scans were all normal, but I kept bleeding like a period, except with maybe a few hours where it would stop and I'd think I was in the clear, only to have it start again. It was incredibly stressful and exhausting.

At fifteen weeks it just stopped like a tap.

Whilst I have had four miscarriages, I have also had bleeding with three of my five successful pregnancies, once with a sub chorionic haematoma and once with an eroded cervix, and once for no good reason at all. And this one!

    Best of luck.

hey just wanted to wish you well with it all, and I bled on and off and all over the place for the 1st trimester of both my pregnancies and I have both of my bubs with me now so Im praying its the same sort of thing for you, sometimes it can be hormones that causes it apparently as long as its not really heavy the doctor told me i'd be fine, but they did keep an eye on me, and given your past circumstances they may want to keep an eye on you too, lets hope it allsettles down soon for you, let us know how you go when you know some more...

I had spotting from wk 5 -6 with ds.
This pregnancy (#3) I had bleeding from wk 6 - 9. I was convinced I was m/c, because I`d had a loss last year and the bleeding was heavier than with Ds. Also it went on for ages and I felt quite unwell. Eventually it turned very dark brown/black red and then stopped. Never found out what caused the bleeding, but here I am a month away from having that baby I thought I`d lost.
