    Bloating...

Has anyone else experienced really bad bloating at the 5-6 week mark?
It is so bad today my belly is protruding and people have noticed!
Nothing seems to alleviate it either....

I was going to post about this too! Hubby said whoa!!! it must be twins!!!

I am now 7 weeks and it is still pretty bad, had a snap of cool weather and had to get the adjustable maternity jeans out!!! If this keeps up I am in BIG trouble!!!! Hope it will ease....

    Hey guys

Yeah...I found I did bloat alot around that time...but it did settle down after awhile...

I bought a belly belt kit from Target and found it fantastic...I could still wear my own clothes but not worry about doing up the buttons properly...it was about $30...and is really worthwhile getting...you can buy them on-line at a BB marketplace member maternit-e west...

    Good luck!

Ugh I had this with all my pregnancies, right through the first trimester. Didn't find anything really to relieve it unfortunately, but it did settle down by itself as the baby grew big enough to squash all my innards
Sorry...it will get better I promise.

Yup with the bloating. Right up until eight weeks I had enormous bloating and a bad case of (TMI) *gas* which I couldn't, try as I might, *discharge* ! I found the occasional charcoal capsule helped. It did get better after that!

Ive found my uterus area (between hips below belly button) is very hard and a bit swollen feeling. I have been digesting ok so maybe its just the uterus explanding and moving a bit? Hmm is weird lol

Bloating is so normal. It's your body adjusting to all the changes. Ride it out and it should ease within a few weeks. I don't think theres a whole heap that you can do to get rid of bloating. It's all part and parcel with PG

Sas - i still get it at 11 weeks, and wish it would go away. I think mine may be diet related too - it's worse when i eat alot of bread. I've already bought some maternity shorts - sooooo comfortable!!!!!

I have been bloated pretty much as soon as I found out I was pg. I am 9 weeks now, and hasn't let up yet. The only thing that helps me is to wear the biggest pants I have (less pressure I guess). I noticed I'm more uncomfortable in tighter clothes. Hopefully this will pass for us both SOON!
