    Question Bowel movements tmi

    Hello ladies,
Hi, i'd thought i would start here with this question as you guys are kind of fresh with your pg's. Firstly congrats to you all!
Before you got your BFP's did any off you have "loose bowel movements?"
I know loads of people get constipated but i'm just curious about the opposite iykwim?
I'm not ill, nor have i eaten anything much different but i am on the loo WAY too much lately. DH and i have been ttc for 10months and this is the only thing i have noticed different lately and would like some advice.
    Thanks in advance

Come to think of it in month that we had success in conceiving my bowel movements were loose... and it was the only thing that was different for me as well. Hopefully you will have a BFP this time around. Good Luck!!!

I've had to do number 2's more often but I've been constipated, nothing loose about them.

Yes ! I can definitely say that I had this problem in the beginning. There seems to be lots of information saying you will get constipated, but not the opposite! I am now almost 9 weeks pregnant, and it appears to have switched the other way.
I have also since read that your body could just be getting rid of all the unwanted toxins etc. in preparation for the pregnancy.

    Good luck!

Oh - I was going to ask the same thing! I have been having diahhrea (sp?) a couple of days and need to do No.2's a fair amount. Weird!

I have also been really gassy! Is this normal too?

Facsinating - thanks for asking the question. I was curious about this myself as I have this too!!

Then again, I got the same thing right after O last month. It is really frustrating!! I have it again this month.

I like the theory that it is body getting rid of toxins in preparation for the pregnancy. My body just seems to be preparing each time right after O.

With my last pregnancy, I think I was a bit loose to start with, then only had one week of constipation around 10 weeks and then was really really normal after that and never suffered the common constipation thing. Must be something good about a system that likes to speed things up a bit!!!

Mrs B26 - sounds promising if you have never had this before. Wishing you a BFP this month!

    Hi,
I have also had wind at the start of my pregnancy, then around 9.5 weeks I had diarrhoea too. The strange thing was that I couldnt get a stool out after I started eating bread and stuff. Finally it was ok for a night, then it went back to diarrhoea again. It seems like I am going from one to another.

Im 10.5 weeks now and I cant wait till this trimester is over.
