I had nausea from about a week after transfer, which hasn't let up, though I'm now at 9+ weeks and hoping it will soon! I'm pretty sure that the extra hormones that most of us IVFers are on in those first few weeks make the symptoms show earlier. Mind you, I've also got 2 on board, which they say also makes symptoms stronger.
I had "morning sickness" from ovulation, but that's because I had a trigger shot. It continued from there and hasn't stopped yet! I had bad m/s with both my girls too but not until more like the 5-6 week mark and they were drug free conceptions.
So, I'd second what Pholi said that it could be the drugs that are giving you such strong early symptoms.
Congratulations on your pregnancy. I hope your m/s eases soon for you
Oh wow ladies, thank you so much, I feel all warm and fuzzy with all your lovely congrats!! Thanks so much I spoke to my IVF nurse today and she said I shouldn't get m/s this early as it's pretty much timed to perfection with implantation etc.....OK, so is it is my head? haha. Today hasn't been too bad. She said to me my levels were pretty high and then asked me how many embies I had put in, lol!
Well that's what she said Because we did IVF, they will send us a letter shortly with the EDD. I had my BT on Friday and according to that and I suppose my levels, I was 4w1d on that day. Today I should be 4w5d. I guess my EDD would be somewhere around 11 Oct??? Today I felt better, not too queasy, just a tad in the morning.
I am interested to hear that, I knew it was supposed to start around 5 weeks but I never knew that there was such a thing as too early! THings we learn!... I will be due on the 12th... so hopefully all going well I will see you in belly buddies!!
