Hi everyone, I am 6w6days pregnant after a m/c back in december. I am starting to get to anxious as this is the time we lost out little one.
I am getting some slight sharp pains to the area where my uterus is. I am hoping this is just stretching etc but have to wait until my first scan at 7w4days. I was suffering all day and night sickness but i seem to be going through a good patch with only a bit of quesiness....which of course makes me think the worst!!!!
anyone else felt these pains??
Hi Shan
I had a miscarriage in October last year at 7 weeks, so can completely relate to how you're feeling. I'm almost 10 weeks and haven't had the pains you're describing, but have been having some discomfort around my middle abdomen, which seem to lessen if I rest and may be related to stretching. If you're worried you can always see your Dr for a blood test or try to get in for an earlier scan. Good luck.
Yes, I am getting constant pulling and cramping type pains too. I remember these from last time so although I get a bit concerned I have to keep telling myslef that they are normal. Last time I had a few debilitating stabbing pains where I was doubled over and everything was still ok so I think the strength can vary.
I had a m/c in mid nov last year. I fell pregnant a month later.. We were so worried about loosing the baby... The pains i had sound like the ones you are having. I kept getting checked by the doctor just to ease my own mind.
Everytime i had the pains i would have a drink of water and lay down and put feet up if possible and just relax - try not to think about the worst that could happen
I am now almost 30 weeks pregnant.. so i am wishing you all the best.
xoxo
Remember.. doctors are there to monitor you and make sure you and bub are ok. never feel like you are annoying them or bothering them. Get checked out if you feel u need to ease ur mind.
thanks for the advise. I am trying not to worry. I was supposed to go for my first scan on tuesday but DH has to go away for work so had to push it back. it said if I am worried then go and get one early just so I can stop stressing, as the stressing cant be doing myself any favours.
I know....i am so happy to be getting this far. My last m/c was missed so didnt know i had lost it until i was 8weeks so just want to make sure now that all is ok!!!
Thanks Banx
I used to stress about every ache and pain or lack of symptoms in the early days due to a history of early m/c but here I am now due very soon. My advice to you is to try and stop stressing about the little things, celebrate the milestones and enjoy your pregnancy as much as possible as you will be at the end of your pregnancy before you know it. I never thought I'd get to where I am now.
