Hi Margot.

During my 2nd pregnancy it was investigated as to why I was always having small babies. (Not that i was complaining about them being small ) Anyway it turned out that I have a genetic disorder in my blood, (my body doesn't break down protein properly, so nutrients don't get passed on to the growing child) and I am also prone to my blood clotting etc. As it was discovered late in my pregnancy I was told if I was to have a 3rd I would be prescribed asprin from day 1 to prevent the clots. I had a lot of clots during the birth of my 2nd child and passed quite large clots after the birth as well

I was told that I do have a high risk of miscarriage, cause of the clotting, but I have had 2 from 2 successful pregnancies, so I have been very thankful about that.

I didn't have to inject needles into myself or anything in my pregnancy so I wish you all the best with that. Can your DH do it for you so you don't have to look ?

Love
