Confused and paranoid

Hi, I've just found out I'm pregnant again after a M/C 7 weeks ago. I've started spotting again & had an U/S which said the baby was 5 weeks, although my HCG is showing it to be around 7 weeks. Can this be normal?

Yes, it's totally possible to become preg very quickly after mc.

One of the girls here had almost the same thing, and she now has a darling little girl who must be about 2 1/2 by now.

Yes - I fell preg straight away after m/c. I had to have u/s to determine age because had no idea due to no period. I spotted too - well actually bled for about 3 weeks and now have gorgeous 4 mnth old! Fingers crossed for you!

Your HCG should roughly match your amount of weeks, but perhaps there were two in there and now there is just one which could confuse things.

I'm feeling a bit more positive, I have an U/S on the 24th, so I guess I'll just have to wait until then & hope the baby has grown & there's a HB.

Hi, just an update.

Had U/S this morning.
HB: 155bpm, 146mm long & measuring at 7 weeks and 6 days.
The sonographer said she could see some areas of bleeding where the baby had implanted, which could explain the spotting. So, fingers crossed that everything keeps progressing.
Very relieved, but still cautious.
