    cramping all on one side?

I have what I hope are the usual sort of cramps in my abdomen. It mostly seems to centre over at one location on my right side. It's not severe - nothing like "normal" period pain, but it seems weird to me that it would be located on the side and mostly in one area. It is bugging me.

Is this normal? Has anyone else found their cramps were all in one place, or all in one place for a few days at a time?

yeah i had them this time round at about 5ish weeks. i was thinking ectopic but it wasnt and didnt get painful painful. had an early dating scan and they found a cyst on my ovary which i read up about and apparantly thats why i would have felt that. i think it was called corpus letuem (sp?) cyst. hope your cramping turns out to be nothing serious.! if it gets painful i would see a doctor.

    Hollo,

It is a relief to read your story. Of course I'm also worried it could be an ectopic pregnancy. But maybe it is something like your cyst - I've had ovarian cysts before.

I think I'll go see the GP tomorrow if I can, though. I don't want to have to worry about this, especially since I'm going overseas for 2 weeks on Friday.

Baby Blue Eyes: Thanks. I certainly do hope this is nothing to worry about.

If it gets any worse over night get to A&E.
Get in to see your doc asap. I don't want to worry you, but a friend of mine had an ectopic pg & lost her fallopian tube because of it.
I really hope its nothing, but its better to be safe than sorry.

I got in to see my doc first thing this morning and she has booked me in for an ultrasound this afternoon, to see what is going on.

Trying not to worry too much...
