Cramping and lots of CM 8 weeks

hi, just want to check that this is normal

i have been having alot of cramping, almost like pressure on my pelvic bone and excessive "clumps" of CM. Maybe teaspoon full's at a time and its constant.

Going from my last pregnancy, it almost looks like my plug - thats the thickness and consistancy of it.

Do you think i need to be checked out? or is this fairly normal?
Also i am getting alot of dizzy spells, to the point where i feel like i am falling off my chair and i have to hold onto something.

    Hi Blakesmummy,

I have also had excessive CM and cramps and apparently it is all normal. As long as there is no blood there shouldn't be anything to worry about. The cramping is just stretching and organs moving about and I'm not sure of the purpose of CM - but it is mentioned in "Up The Duff" as well.

As for the dizziness and light-headeness - def. normal. There is much more blood pumping around your body and if your pressure drops it can easily cause these spells. I've also been experiencing these, and i just use my instinct to deal with them. Such as hanging on to something, lying down and then getting up slowly when it has passed.

    Hope that helps!

thanks, i was just worried about how big the clumps of CM are, as i have never experienced anything like this, except for in labour with my son.

I would check with your doctor, I know its sometimes hard to go for every little thing but its better to just run it by your doctor.
