With Charlie and Lexie I was very lucky. I small amount of slight nausea at the very beginning but that was it. No vomitting at all, and I felt as right as rain, as good as gold by 6 weeks.
(Olivia was all day sickness for 15 weeks........LOL!)
Just wondering how many ladies have gone through their entire pregnancy without experiencing any m/s? This is my second pregnancy, and I haven't had any m/s so far. I am hoping that it will come my way as it will be a much more reassuring pregnancy symptom. Is not experiencing m/s a bad thing?

Hi... Dont complain!!! While it is reassuring in a way it is also fowl!! Mine has just kicked in and i am struggling... It is worse this time than was with 1st.. and it is all day long!!!!
I have had many friends have no m/s the whole way through so enjoy feeling good!!![]()
Hi Carmen2,wow Hun, don`t ever complain about not getting ms,it`s terriable,I had it very bad with my first four bubs, and thankfuly I didn`t have with my last one,and it was my fifth pregnancy and the only one I enjoyed.I couln`t walk into a butcher shop, made be dry reach, and different food smells like fresh garlic or onions cooking made me feel totally off,and every time I went to peel a Bannana,it would make me sick. good luck I hope you have a good pregnancy.
As someone who had no m/s the first time around, I can tell you right now that Carmen2 is not complaining.
You hear all about m/s and all these symptoms etc being normal when your pregnant, so when you get a postive test, and have none of the "normal" issues its downright nerve wracking.
I spent 12 weeks worried that something was wrong cos I didnt fit the "normal" category in terms of pg symptoms, and was so so so relieved to see DS wriggling around on the u/s!
With this bub i had slight nausea...no vomitting from week 7-13 then good as gold!
I have been very lucky and not had m/s for my pregnancy. I have had days that are few and far between where I have felt nauseous but have never been sick. I would say nauseous days were no more than I felt pre-pregnancy.
I know what you mean, I have had 2 DS and never had morning sickness, It is strange when you hear of all the other pregnant woman being sick and you dont feel anything. But dont stress to mcu im sure it will be fine![]()
I had probably 5 days where I felt slightly queasy with my second pg and the rest of it was fine - wouldn't have known I was pg kwim?
You're still only quite early yet, sometimes m/s doesn't kick in till a bit later, but you may not change from how you are now. Both are completely normal.
I was lucky to have 2 pregnancies without m/s!!!
It's so reassuring to hear that some of you ladies haven't experience m/s. While I may be praying for m/s to come my way, I have to say that it is truly out of worries. As rayray have mentioned, I just don't feel right because I don't fit into the "normal" pregnancy category. While most of my friends have experienced some degrees of m/s, I have none. And there my mind goes off wondering if everything is still okay. TBH, I feel quite silly. My worry has gotten me to a point of doing the HPT again. Even though my pregnancy has been confirmed after 4 HPTs, I still managed to find myself in the bathroom checking it. When the dark second line appeared in less than 1 minute, I felt a little better. But at this point, I still wonder how come some ladies experience some m/s while I have felt nothing in both pregnancies. I got a little worried and started to wonder if my hormones are not quite right since I have read something about hormones related issues to a woman's m/s during pregnancy. Well, it won't be another 4 weeks till I see my GP... hopefully, I may get to hear my baby's heartbeat than this will for sure give me some real reassurance. Until then, I guess I will have to wait patiently for the scan which I need to book when I see my GP.... Hopefully time will fly by quicker than I imagine because the 13 week mark is flying by so slowly now.
I had mild nasuea with my first but nothing to really complain about at all.. and the only time I felt really blergh was my last pregnancy.. I even vomitted once. I was so proud lol..
The only thing I got was the incredible tiredness.. All of my pregnancies I just go so exhausted...
I felt a little queasy on and off for a couple of weeks with my two, but not vomitting for me.
I had no m/s at all with the 2 girls, but had it with DS.
Congrats on your pregnancy Carmen! All pregnancies can be different. With DS1 I had bad m/s from weeks 5 - 14, with DS2 I only had mild m/s from weeks 7 - 9. You may still get it yet, but I hope for your sake you don't and are one of the lucky ones!
Up until just last week I was nauseous and tired every evening... right at dinner time lol. Now that I am feeling alot better (dare I say "normal") Im really hanging for my ultrasound just to put my mind at ease that something is going on in there lol....I know it sounds strange but I did feel better about it when I was sick, if that makes sense![]()
First time around I had no sickness at all. This time I had some nausea but no vomitting or anything. That only lasted from 6 - 12 weeks and since then I have been fine. From what I have heard most m/s kicks in at the 6 week mark so you may wake up tomorrow feeling dreadful![]()
Helen, I think the u/s will definitely put us more at ease. Although we know we are pregnant, when it feels too right, we can't seem to get it down to earth. So, I definitely need the u/s for putting my mind at ease! At least, being able to see our baby doing well in there will make us feel more "right".
