At 10DPO I got a line that was about half the strength of the control line and by 14DPO the two lines were exactly the same. At 4.5 weeks I am pretty sure most people will get quite a dark line and don't think that it means you are further along.
I got such a dark BFP at about 4.5 weeks, much darker than with my first pregnancy (and with another miscarriage, though of course that was a very faint line).
Would that definitely mean that I am further along than I thought? Or do some people just get dark BFPs and there's no reason for it?

Ok that's good, thanks! I can't afford to be too far along since we have some travelling in July.
I am really not clued up with all the DPO numbers and tracking etc, since I have never gotten into charting, so I don't know what's normal.
