This sounds normal. I had it explained to me that you might know your LMP but the egg might have taken longer to get down the tube. There are all sorts of reasons for it being out.
I said my LMP was 20/10 (this is as close an estimation I could think of), which would mean I am 15+ weeks. But in my amnio today the baby is only 14 weeks old, so I'm out by quite a bit without meaning to be so.
Jordie, I don't think you have anything to worry about. But that is my non-medical opinion, which I like to give regularly.
if the sonographer wasnt worried i wouldnt either, dont forget babies can grow at different rates, u were a week behind what u thought this time and maybe next scan you'll be a week ahead of what u thought!!
dont stress to much

Seems to be a pretty normal occurance Jordie,
My LMP had me due 30/7 which I knew was at least a week out cos I have 35 day cycles and personally I thought 7/8 was about right - only to find out at my dating scan the EDD was 13/8
Plus jellybean was only just big enough to get a heartbeat - and slow at that - which is apparently what really little fetuses have before their heart rate picks up at about 6 weeks.
Embrace the later EDD honey - less likely they'll induce you for being 'overdue'!
