Ok I know that fainting is a symptom in pregnancy, but is it one to be conserned about??
On Sunday morning I was dressing in the bathroom and DP was in there doing whatever, when I told him that I was feeling a but funny, so he came over to hug me (bless him) and from this point I don't recall anything but DP says that My legs just went out from under me, so he looked and my eyes just rolled back and I was out to it, so he lowered me to the floor, where I`came to, throwing up violently.
Now I am not conserned about the throwing up part.. that is a regular thing for me lately, but I have never fainted before - so I am only guessing that that is what this was. I will be seeing my OB tomorrow morning, so I will mention it to him, but I thought I would ask you ladies what you thought...
Hi, I hope you are alright.
I'm pretty sure it's low blood pressure that causes fainting in pg. Your doc will want to know though so make sure you tell him. It's probably nothing wrong but it could be a problem if it happens and there's no one to catch you. 8-[
I get the woozy feeling, and lie down on the floor and just breathe, I usually feel hot as well, have never actually fainted, bu tI pick up the symptoms, pretty quick and get down before I do. Mine is from low blood sugar, if DH is around he gets me chocolate, and forces" me to eat it!! make sure you mention it to the dr as he will check up on Bp, blood sugar and iron levels, as all these things can cause fainting.
I am still experiencing m/s and mum ( a midwife) tells me to keep my carbs up, to stop the drop in blood sugars, ( like bread and dry biscuits) most people can find A cracker they can handle, mum said keep a stock of them and just nibble occasionally!![/b]
