I am new to this part of the forum, as I only found out yesterday that I was pregnant!! I already have a 20 month old daughter and I had a miscarriage 5 months ago. As it is early days, I am feeling a little nervous about how things will progress.
Anyway my period was only due yesterday so I am only about 4 weeks. I have already been feeling exhausted, have sore breasts and I have had cramps up the sides of my pelvis. I have also been feeling breathless on and off. I find if I sit down this helps a little. Is this a normal pregnancy symptom? Anyone else experience this??
i have a feeling the next 8 weeks is going to go very slow!! Thanks for any replies!

I completely understand the nervousness you are feeling, after a miscarriage 3 months ago we have found out we are pregnant too! About 5 1/2 weeks.
Anyway, I don't know whether breathlessness is 'normal' at this stage BUT I am certainly feeling the same way. I find I can just be doing something routine like sitting/ walking and all of a sudden I have to take a deep breath because I feel 'puffed'. At first I thought 'I must be really unfit all of a sudden'! Im also experiencing very tender breasts and waves of queasiness/ dizziness.
Sorry I cant be more help on whether it is normal but thought you might feel a bit of relief that someone else is in the same boat.
Good luck with everything and again congratulations!!!!!!
I have been feeling very tired and breathless and it was suggested I could have become a bit anemic with this bub. I started eating more meat and taking an Iron supplement which seems to be helping. Might be worth a try or call your midwife/OB/GP and ask?
I think an iron supplement would be a good idea.
As well as lots of green leafy veggies eg spinach.
Congrats on your pregnancy & I hope you feel better soon!
