HI JordieC, I completely sympathise and understand where you are coming from but if possible try to remain positive as alot of women bleed and perhaps (fingers crosssed) it is nothing to worry about. I'll tell you my story and hopefully it will help you stay positive until u/s. I woke up on morning when I was 6 weeks, had a shower and when drying off noticed a fair bit of bright red blood. The night before I had had a few cramps so as you can imagine I freaked out. Went to local dr cause OB was on leave who advised me he was 95% confident i'd miscarried but gave me an u/s form to book in anyway just to confirm it had all passed. Pretty upset so home I go, drink a few glasses of red, smoke a few ciggies and do everything that I had stopped completely when discovering I was pg 3 weeks prior! The next morning I still felt pg (sore breasts etc) so booked in for an early u/s a day later. U/s showed not only had I not miscarried but that I was carrying twins! Hbs were good in the u/s and they were a good size. Anyway spotting continued for the next few weeks every day. Not alot, and dark in colour but continuous. Then one night I passed a couple of small clots..So again I freaked out and OB sent me for another u/s. He said because I was still feeling sick it seemed a good thing. But then I stopped feeling sick completely and was really worried and bleeding had stopped. U/s showed everything was fine, hbs fine and B1 and B2 good in length. That was 2 weeks ago.

So I know how scary it can be and i've got my fingers crossed for you that everything is ok. Quick question though, do you have any other symptions of pg still, ie sore breasts, hungry etc etc?
