First blood test

Hi girls ,

Just wondering if anyone who got a bfp before af was due - had their blood test for hcg levels early too??? I'm 11dpo today and with the long weekend coming up I can either get my blood test today or the next time I can do it isn't till next Thursday (long weekend till tues then I'm workin all day wed) which will be 18dpo! Seems like a lifetime away! Is it ok to get test done today or should I just wait??

I think a positive preg blood test is when the hcg is at 20 so depending on what tests you are using you may not quite be at that level yet. I would personally wait as some docs won't get you to do a blood test, some will just take your word for it and others will get you to do a POAS and the doc tests aren't as sensitive.

OMG Lys, so happy - big congrats babe!

Waiting is possibly a good idea, I had mine done the day I got my bfp but by then I was some 18dpo anyway. Even then my hcg levels were only 78 or so.
