I'm booked in to see the midwives on monday and was wondering what medical history questions I should expect? I dont know much about my family pregnancy histories and if I need to find out, I will- but I am unsure of what they will need to know.
Can anyone help?
Also I read the blood results for levels/immunisation status and ultra sound results. I read that I have a corpus luteal cyst. We did some research and read that it is not harmful to my pregnancy.
With the medicals history I was asked the general Q's such as the basics such as weight and height, blood type? Followed by lifestyle Q's such as have have you ever used drugs, drunk alcohol and used drugs, taking any medication, have you been pregnant before etc. Then family health history such as mental illness, immune disorders, high blood pressure, family history of m/c's etc. (Just ask your family if there is any health issues that could be genetic and your partners family as well so you have the knowledge.)Besides this she will continue with general Q's and ask you bout you and your partners general health/conditions if any and may ask you for results of blood tests/ultrasound or request them. I'm not to familar with the cysts in depth but have read they should not cause a risk with your p/g. Just make sure you mention it to your midwife. GL
it's just general health questions they'll ask, as curlygirly says.
Those cysts are simply what is left over after your ovulate, so absolutely nothing to worry about.
