Has anyone had a Stitch type pain only to find out that you were pregnant?

Hi, Just wondering if any of you pregnant ladies out there, if before you found out you were UTD did you get any stitch type pain in the side similar to ovulation pain. I have 6 days before AF is due and this pain is not a normal pain I would get before AF. Not really expecting ant great news for myself but this pain is annoying me today.

    Thanks

Perhaps implantation pain? I really don't know, it's just a suggestion.

Thanks Catherine, have been searching the web, to see if anyone has had this sort of pain, and have found a few had. I even had heartburn two days straight yesterday and the day before, so something else that was new to me before AF. So I suppose we will see what happens.

Still would like to hear from anyone that may have tho.

I don't think you'd get heartburn yet from pregnancy... Only because the uterus wouldn't have even moved or grown yet to push the organs up to make less room for your stomach to cause heartburn iykwim?

But i hope for your sake that that stitch is implantation Sending baby dust your way!

Weird, i read that women get heartburn during pregnancy because the organs are pushed up so the stomach has not as much room and the stomach acids are forced into the asofagus (sp?)... Anywho, i know i love the 3D/4D scans they are great... i had one done at 13 weeks, 19 weeks and am going back in afew weeks time

How much did they cost, are they very expensive? I just love them, not like the old ones. Will get the dvd as well. Did you get the DVD too?

    Hi csab

I had stitch like pain very early on, it was very very low almost just above my pubic bone and to the side but I was really gassy, bloated and had cramps 3 days after BD so ignored it. They didn't last long literally seconds at a time and I got a BFP 8DPO using a 10miu HPT.

I haven't had any of the "traditional" pregnancy signs as such. I do think there is a lot to be said about intuition. I think you know you're own body and what is normal and not normal for you which you are more likely to notice especially if you haven't done anything differently to what you would normally do.

For me, I knew in my heart I was pregnant straight away simply because the cramps/bloatiness/gas were not normal for me and I only got bloated the day before AF arrived and no major pain. So it was defo not normal for me and therefore noticed it and to be honest just needed HPT to confirm cos I was scared to trust my own instincts.

Who knows this could be your month for BFP! Fingers crossed.

Hi csab, (sorry nearly typed scab hehe)

I actually have similar to what you are going thru (i think?). My AF is about 5 days late approx and no sign of AF symptoms at all which is very odd, however I have had a pain on my right side, started up near appendix but now its in my ovaries area (where they approx are!) andyeah, like a stitch kinda pain too! i cant explain it but it's there all the time the last 4 days....

I mean i dont think I am pregnant or anything but it would be nice if we were and my AF is late.... we arent TTc yet but we did DTD unprotected couple of times see how we go....

good luck!! I hope you are pregnant!!!!

Ellana - Hope so, but as you said you start not trusting yourself after a while. Not holding my breath tho for a BFP, as just in case don't want to feel let down. (if that makes sense) Lately tho, so many things have not been the norm, like AF type pains for around 2wks maybe a little longer, but haven't noticed them as much today. None of my pregnancies had any symptoms like this, well not that I can remember anyway. Congrats on your BFP.

    What HPT did you use?

Renstar - How nice would it be. Especially since you weren't really trying. Let me know how you go. Have you tested? Have you been this late before?

O no, both the ones i have go near an hour... the clinic i go to is fab.. they are so thorough with everything and go through EVERYTHING with you.. in 2D and 3D and if bubs is moving they will do 4D. They are so warm and friendly and got excited about the smallest things when they really didn't have to - it was such a great experience. They even told me the gender at 13 weeks which i was a bit hesitant about, but at 19 weeks it was confirmed as what they had told me it was earlier. I also had some gf's go to the same clinic and they were all told accurately at 13 weeks the genders too

Hey csab, yep i have tested the day AF was due. it was neg.... i dont think I am but hey, as long as you are DTD there is always a chance! right?

good luck!! Yeah ive had funny type minor cramps and this pain on my right side of abdomen its very different havent had it before. i was worried at first it was ectopic preg as i have heard stories thats what can happen with pain etc... but nah it would be worse pain i believe!!!!
I have had a lot of stress on me the last 2 weeks so perhaps its just stress thats delaying the mean AF....

Catherine - That is great a hour worth. Gee hope they will do that down here. It is so good when they are thorough. When we had my girls done, for the video, they wouldn't put the video on until they had done the tests that they needed to do, and left the video to the end. Was so annoyed that it was so short.

Renstar - Stress likes to do stupid things to our cycles. Nut yes when we DTD there is always a chance. Hope your late for a very good reason. Like being UTD. Fingers crossed for you. Not long for your wedding hun, hope you have a great day.

Renstar...you are correct. I had an ectopic pregnancy a few months back and yes, it felt like period pain, but then it increased in intensity so quickly (within an hour) and then I was in so much pain I couldn't even talk, all I could do was squirm. We sat (I squirmed) in the emergency waiting area for three hours before they got some morphine in to me and then the pain was only subdued!!! You'll know it if you have an ectopic preg!!! I lost my left fallopian tube to that experience, but a couple of months later I got pregnant again. So all good in the end. I am now 11 weeks preg. with my first. Good luck to you all!!!

Danda - Congrats on your pregnancy, sorry about your Ectopic experience. Gee they left you in the waiting room for a long time, what was with that? May I ask how far you were?
