Wink To Have a 2nd Scan

    Hi All,

I am constantly wanting to have a 2nd scan before my 1 2week scan, I am nearly 9 weeks and even though I'm getting symptoms (Throwing up every morning nearly, very tired, sore boobs, nipples extremely sore, changin nipple colour, clothes becoming tighter, headaches, heart burn and did i mention TIREDNESS!!! lol). I just want to see the little tacker again and make sure it's still there, is this natural? should I go have a 2nd scan?

    Cheers

    Hi Lisa,

My GP was fantastic and would send me off to a scan whenever I wanted to check that all was OK. Ask you GP or Ob if you really want one. It is better not to stress at all if you can. All of your symptoms sound positive, but sometimes you just want to see/hear that heartbeat!

    Hope this helps,
    Tracey

    Lisa,

sounds like it's going great guns in your tummy, sounds VERY PG to me!!! It is natural to want to be sure.. at the moment, if it wasn't for my tummy and the occasional nausea when i'm hungry and the itchy boobs i wouldn't know i was pG!! So i fully understand! i have a week to go before my 19 week scan and it's killing me! LOL like you i just want to check that everything is ok!

maybe ask and see if they can send you for another one..?!

    Hey Lisa

Can I ask if you have had those symptoms the entire time, or did they kick in at a certain week?

    Cheers

    Hey,

The vomiting started around week 7, the tiredness started about week 6 and the sore boobs started about week 4!!! Nipples about week 4 and the clothes getting tighter at 8 weeks....

    Cheers
