HCG rising but not doubling

I just got my hcg results and now I'm completely stressing. First test at 5+0 was 3460 second at 5+2 was 5740 so they have risen but not doubled. Does anyone have any stories/ advice to share? I'm after both positive and negative as I want to be prepared for the worst. They didn't double last time either and that didn't have a happy ending so needless to say I am super scared and stressed right now.

Yes mine did that there is a thread on here about it. I think after 5-6 weeks it can double every 80 odd hours please don't stress too much yet as I honestly was the same and my bub was fine x

I have no stories. just that not doubling in 48 hours isn't reassuring =( hopefully someone else has a postive story for you. wishing you the best and sending you buckets of sticky vibes!!

Momma my HCG numbers barely double and sometimes they dont. Not only that they are very low. I have had some miscarriages but I also have two healthy babies

They say HCG doubles in 48-72 hours. Are you getting any more bloods/scans done?

I haven't had any more bloods taken but I had a scan that showed a heartbeat of 140 and the measurements were only 2 days behind what I thought they were. My next scan is on Monday to make sure it is growing as it should be so fx it all goes well

Sounds ok to me it can be less than exactly double and can take a bit longer to double and does start to slow down a bit
A hb 140 sounds reassuring too
It's just a waiting game really
