    heatburn... make it stop

    anyone have any tips to make the heartburn go away???? I get it about 20 mins after eating and it lasts for ages!!!!

    My Dr said - try eating 5-6 small meals. Helpful huh!! This was when I was lucky to get one meal down a day!!
    She also said not to guzzle the quickeze - but I have no choice, I try not to have more than 2 lots per week though.
    Sorry - not much help!

    Congrats on your BFP.

    I had terrible heartburn in third trimester, I never took anything for it, but the others in TT were taking Mylanta. I don't know if you can have that so early though. Have you asked your chemist?

    Rennie is perfectly fine for heartburn etc during pregnancy

    thank you thank you thank you... rennie it is then. I have not mde a doc appointment yeat... we only tested yesterday but were pretty sure for the last 6 days as af was late.

    I had the worse heartburn from 6 months on, I couldn't even drink water without getting it.

    I put telephone books under the top of the bed to raise it up a little and guzzled milk, which helped a lot.

    And yeah, I lived on Rennie's during my PG as well!!!!
