    Help! I ate mould :(

Hi - it sounds silly but I found out this morning that the jam I put on my toast last night (new jar, I heard the "pop") had mould on it. I didn't notice & just thought it was a bitter tasting jam I'm 10+2 & wondering if I'm likely to feel sick or cause damage?
I'm not overly stressed about it, more curious as to what it will do.
    Thanks

I've eaten mouldy bread before (by accident) and haven't been sick. Perhaps ring the poisons information line if you're worried.

Firstly i really wouldnt be over concerned.... i would only be concerned if you start to feel off colour itchy etc etc. (as it is a penicillan they say ).. i reckon if your body at 10 wks didnt like it you will probably throw it up .... Drink heaps of milk and water and forget about it .... AND take the jar back and get a new one ...

Yes, I wouldn't be too worried about it either - just annoyed that a new jar was already mouldy! Poisons Information would be able to tell you what symptoms to look for.
