help - my crumpet had some mould!!

just woke up and halfway through my crumpet when i tasted the tineesit bit of mould

i looked and sure enough there was another tiny spot!
what should i do? should i go make myself sick?
freaking out - the rest looked fine and we only bought them yesterday!

i saw on tv the other night that bacteria in on bit of mould spreads right through the item - and it usually has all sorts of bugs! really scared its going to hurt the bub? help?

    Nah - you'll be fine, it's penicillin.

I wouldnt stress too much hun!!! I have eaten crumpets every morning through out this pregnancy and with the heat up here, I have to check them every morning for mould! I am sure that once or twice I may have missed a spot or two.....as gross as it sounds..lol... I love them.... (the crumpets not the mould..lol..)

thanks so much for the reassurance girls - v relieved to hear i'm not the only one!
there's so much hype about avoiding bacteria, and blue cheeses etc it's easy to freak yourself out!

...and yes - crumpets are the worst for mould! grrrr... because they are soooo good for m/s! (normally)
