Oh ok. I didn't realise that. I know that a fair few people here have had to make the decision about a CVS so hopefully they'll be able to offer some support or advice there. I'm sorry I wasn't much help. I hope someone else can offer something x

I just want to this for you Shell and suggest maybe posting this thread again in the General Pregnancy Discussion as you may get some more replies in there. Sometimes ladies that are further along in their pregnancies or who have no had their babies may not come back into the 1st trimester threads but will go in there. Worth a try.
Sorry I am unable to help with your qu or give you any advise.
I wish you all the very best and hope the next series of tests go well for you.

We had an amnio last week due to elevated free BHCG and a decreased PAPP-A. I was not suitable for CVS due to placenta and uterine positions. Our risk is 1/58.

It is a choice only you and your partner can make. Are you prepared to take the risk with regards to miscarriage? What will you do with the results? Do you need to know the answer? TBH - I still don't know what we will do with the results but I do know I need to know the answer.

It is such a difficult decision and unfortunately no one can help you make it
