I totally agree with what most have said here lol. I showed nearly straight away this time and have found that I have done it with all but my first pregnancies! So much for hiding it and keeping secrets hey lol.

I used to be big for ages then in the 3rd trimester things evened out and I had an average sized bub each time. This time round I already look like Im about 6 months pg! and Im only 12wks hehe. But all is good, I dont mind being larger for a good reason.

Good luck with it all anyway and congrats that you are already having #2

    Cheers Lindy

I wouldn't have thought it was possible to show at 8 weeks - you sure it isn't bloating? I know many women have bloating the first two months and then it pops back in for a month or two.

I'm coming up 26 weeks and there are still a number of people at work who haven't noticed I'm pregnant even though I though I thought I looked pregnant months ago (obviously I didn't).

This is my first pregnancy, but by 11 weeks I am showing. I don't think anyone would guess unless I was wearing a bikini, but my husband loves playing with my belly now. I have heard that 2nd+ pregnancies can show earlier.

I've also read that slim women show earlier than larger women, which makes sense, doesn't it?

I would say some of mine was bloating at 8-9 weeks but my tummy definately stuck out and I would say it must be because my tummy muscles just aren't as strong as they were before I had DD. I really popped out with her at about 15-16 weeks although I was in maternity pants from about 8 weeks as well. It just wasn't as obvious as it is this time.

Well i get massive bloating and it's my first PG (that has stuck!). At 8 weeks someone guessed firstly that I was PG, then said "oh, so are you about 6 months!!!!" I can't fit into any of my normal clothes - just went shopping for mat clothes on the weekend. I don't know if things will settle down now i'm past 12 weeks but so far there's no signs of looking any less PG. SO saying, I start the day looking about 4 months, then graduate to 6 months by the evening If I try on my normal work pants - the waistband gap is about 3 inches!!!

I looked at some pics of other girls on the net recently and was relieved to see some of them looked just as big as I do (on their first PG) - I'd been feeling like a bit of a fraud! I guess everyone is different though.

Well I guess it could be bloating, but I sure as hell aint the size I was before falling pregnant! As I mentioned with my first bub I hardly showed at all. I remember going to ante natal classes at 5 months and they all said, are you sure you are pg? hehe. Well next time round I was showing as soon as I got the bfpf! And that has how it has been with every pregnancy since. If it is bloating, is there anything that can be done to make it less obvious?? I just feel like a beached whale and Im only just gone 12wks! lol.

I was showing by 8 weeks and was in maternity pants by 12!!

I was shocked but it was my third prg in 3 years and an IVF prg so you tend to be a bit bloated after a stim cycle (enlarged ovaries etc).

I was heaps bigger this time, I felt HUGE! But he's a big boy so I blame him
