How early did you feel bub move?

How early did people feel little movements?
This is my third pregnancy and I have heard you feel it sooner each pregnancy.

With DD I felt her really early, like around 9 weeks. I thought I must've been crazy, but they were all in the same spot and just kept getting stronger as she grew until there was no denying it!

It's similar now, but I'm not as certain that's what I'm feeling, I won't be until I see my 12w scan.

With DD it was around 22 weeks, with DS it was around 17 weeks for a few days then I didn't feel anything again with him until nearly 25 weeks which freaked me out but once he started that was it for the next 17 weeks he was in there!!

I don't remember with DD2 but after 16wks I think and then didn't stop.... Although that was actual kicks.
DD1 was just before 20 weeks I think but hardly any kicks at all.
This one I swear I can feel something but the kid probably only grew legs lol, it's a definate squirm in the one spot, it will be interesting if this feeling gets stronger as bub grows... So I was thinking maybe "they" are right you feel it earlier when you know what you are feeling

How early did you feel bub move?

Number 1 was 18 weeks with anterior placenta

Number 2 was 16 weeks with anterior but slightly higher placenta

Started as a slug feeling then 1week later as pops

Ill be interested to see if 3 is earlier It also depends on location of placenta

You are right the placenta blocked all of my DD1 movements and I didn't know what I was feeling too.

DS (1st pg) about 17 weeks I was certain it was bubs, but in reflection it was earlier, I just wasn't sure
DD (2nd pg) 11 weeks, felt the tell tale flutter and knew what it was from the previous pg

DD1: I felt movement around 17 weeks and kicks around 19/20.

DD2: I swear I felt flutters 9-10 weeks, but I often wondered if I was imagining it. I definitely felt movement around 12/13 weeks. I felt her first kick at 16.5 weeks.

with DD i felt her fromabout 15-16 weeks.. this one about 18-19 weeks, but this one i have an anteria placenta so the sonographer said i would most likely feel movements later.

I'm subbing to this - can I just add a question? I have a retroverted uterus and am just wondering if anyone has experience with this and if one will feel movements later than with a uterus in the usual position? It's my 2nd pregnancy, with the first one ended in mm/c at 11 weeks, so too early to feel movements with that one...

I have a retroverted uterus and with both previous pregnancies the placenta was on the front so baby very much hiding. First pregnancy I felt nothing I could be sure of until 17 weeks, second at 15 weeks. This time placenta is on the back and I have just been lying here feeling the first little flutters tonight at 12w4d (measuring 13 wks). What I'm feeling is very faint but I'm far more sure of it as I know what and where I'm feeling far better this time. It's just very slight little bumps and squirms. Love it!
