How many wks before you book in @ hospital?

It depends if you go public or private. I picked an Obstetrician at the hospital I wanted to go to. I got in as her patient and was told to book the hospital now which was when I was 6 weeks..before my first appointment at 10 weeks.

I get booked in at my first clinic appt at the hospital at about the 12 wk mark.
