    hpt's - negative then a positive??

    Hi!

Anyone test in the arvo and get a bfn...then test the next morning and get a bfp??

Just interested whether it has made a big difference testing from one day to the next???

    Thanks!

FMU always gets a better result as the HCG is more concentrated.

It's not quite the same, but I tested on CD11 & got a BFN but on CD13 I got a BFP. So it was a matter of 48hrs the difference.

    Thanks Sarah!

I would only be 3w6d today if what I had last was af...might leave it a couple of days. I'm very nervous though as I've been nauseous the last 3 days and a bit of spotting today but no af...

LOL Krys...Not quite the right timing but of course I would be happy to be p/g again...Don't know how I'd cope though!
Part of me thinks I am but it could be just a strange af waiting to happen...

I haven't heard of too many BFP being false. Imagine how close your little ones will be just 12 months apart. Are you bfing? quiet congrats's to you let us know what hapens with the second test!

Krisvee - I have had the opposite experience. I think because I always get up to wee in the early hours so my fmu is not particularly concentrated. Weith this baby I did a hpt in the morning and it was bfn - well there could have been a line ifykwim??? In the afternoon after not drinking for 4 hours and holding my bladder it was a clear bfp albiet feint.

It all depends on the concentration of your urine. Your FMU shouldbe more concentrated but if you are a nocturnal urinator! than it may not be...

    Hi guys!

    Thanks for all your replies!

Af arrived this morning! I think I'd just forgotten how rotten it is - LOL! A big sigh of relief really...I'm not sure if my body could handle another p/g after being p/g and/or bfing for the last 2 1/2 years!!!
It really is funny how so many af symptoms are also p/g symptoms...really can be confusing sometimes!!!

It's all due to that lovely hormone progesterone! I hope it's the result you wanted... Take care...
