I am crampy still with no bleeding, Is this normal?

Girls i am 6 weeks today and I am still getting the off cramp that feel like period pain. I have no spotting or bleeding. Is this really normal? I have just started to get morning sickness also. Both the cramping and MS seem to come in waves. I usually find that the MS is mostly in the morning and backs off by afternoon. but the cramping although it is usually afternoon, evening I got another one about 5 minutes ago. Its not located to a specific side just lower abdo. I am feeling a bit emotional also. I just want to cry. Please tell me some of you are experiencing this also. I want to believe it is just things growing.

I would have to say that it would be things stretching. I have had this on and off the whole time, and I'm sure alot of other ladies have aswell. Try not to worry, unless the cramping is accompanied by bleeding (not just brown spotting) I am sure that everything is fine. GL with your pregnancy

I had the same cramps for all 4 of my children, up to around 8 weeks.. It can happen around 6 weeks when the emby is really settling in and attaching itself It's scary though- especially during your first pregnancy.

Your uterus has so much growing to do in the next 9 odd months, and yes, this can sometimes cause cramping which can be very scary. So unless it is getting painful or starting to be accompanied by bleeding, then I would say it was just normal.

Thank you, thank you. I guess its easy to over react to every little niggle you get when you have never experienced it before. I am glad I found this site. I am glad to have other women to talk to. I dont feel so lonely.
    Thank you

    Hi Puppies
I agree with all the others it sounds normal providing there is no bleeding. It is caused by your uterus growing and stretching

I had really horrible cramping around 6 weeks and i still am getting the occasional cramps now. Try not to think about it too much (easier said than done i know) and just let your body do its thing

I have always wondered why pregnancy guides never mention cramping. Not to lull women into a false sense of security but to help them recognise "normal" cramping..
I tip-toed practically everywhere with my first bubby. I was utterly terrified of every new cramp. Actually the only reason I did a pregnancy test with DD1 was because I had such strong period pains, they had been going for a week or so and I realised I was well overdue!

Girls, can you have cramping like AF cramping but mild cramping, from 4wks pregnant onwards aswell?? Is my uterus already starting to stretch??

I've had AF type pains on and off for 3 days now.... feels like AF is coming but I have heard that's normal....?

Puppies - its a scary time hey? It's my first too and I'm very nervous!!

Yep totally normal I felt like AF was just around the corner and even had a little bit of spotting but now i'm getting booted in the ribs and head buts to the cervix.
It is such a scary time in the first few weeks of pregnancy but hold on girls you'll be right
