Question I am not sure if I have had a m/c

Hello, i am currently around 6-7 weeks pregnant. I am due for my u/s in 2 days time. I have been bleeding for the last 3 days. It started off as a brownish colour but for the last 2 days it it bright red. I have not suffered with any cramps or clots and feel fine within myself. I am unsure if I still feel pregnant. My husband and I have been using IVF and we have had 2 embryos transferred and not sure if we have lost them or that it is just normal or that we have actually lost one or both.

    Hi Kyb,

Sorry you have to go through this stressful experience. There are threads and articles on here re: bleeding in pregnancy. I recommend that you definitely call you ob or fertility specialist and if you can't get onto them or the dr you have been seeing for you evf then I would head down to the hospital to have a scan. I hope your bub or bubs are sticky and everything is fine!

Early miscarriage can be less than a period, with no pain, well that's my experience anyway. Some women do experience bleeding and seeing that it's IVF there's a chance that it could have been the loss of a twin. Of course there's always the chance that it was just a bleed as it seems a lot of women have those and go on to have a normal pregnancy.

I wish you the best of luck with the scan.
