That is wonderful news Em. It must have been so wonderful to see that little HB. Sending your little bubba some strong growing vibes. That must have been an awful experience with the second u/s. I agree that labour is something totally different. Stay strong hun. Big hugs to you xxxxxx
Absolutely fabulous news about bubby!! Hang in there gorgeous one your mummy and daddy can't wait to hold you in their arms. I'm so sorry about your experience with the ob. Maybe a letter of complaint??
It is wonderful news about bubba's HB getting stronger :0
About the other, aww hun that isn't right, I have had 5 cervical scans so far 3 in my OB's office and 1 at a US clininc the other at the WCH. Each time I got changed into a gown in a separate private bathroom, I was given a towel and told how to lie at the end of the bed. In my OB's office she pulled the curtain around and gave me a towel. And I have to say she is a lot better at it then the WCH or the US clinic, I found with both of those I had horrible cramping afterwards, but with my OB only minor cramping one of the times. I so understand how invasive it feels and something that really needs to be done completely respectfully. And with your background even more so
Do you know if they will be monitoring your cevix length at all throughout pregnancy, you could perhaps get them done through a clinic rather than your OB as they will have different protocols? I hope you can avoid the need for anymore or at least the minimum, I have plenty of the Internals to go, but after 5 already I am prepared for it much more. Take care hun and I hope you don't have an experience like that again xxoo
Aww Em.. how horrible to have to go through that, i had an internal when i had a bleed with DD1 and i agree with the feeling of being violated, some people have no tact, she should have left the room.
So glad you got a visual and bubs is growing well...
Oh em I don't know what to say, just that I am letting you know I am here for you even if it is just for a cyber hug
Is it much bleeding? If so just go to your closeset Maternity ER/Womans Assessment, I found that was the best place to go at times like this xxoo
