Ok so had a scan a few weeks ago revealing i am 10 days behind where my doc thought i was and only got back to my docs today...
Of course he now has me freaked out there is something wrong so is insisting i have another scan. I asked how my blood work looked and he said it was great;
Called the scan place, they got me in straight away. I finished drinking my water at 4pm and i reallllyyyy need to go to the toilet arg...my scan isnt for another 20 minutes! Oh lord. I hope he doesnt ask me to let a little bit out....LOL
Hope all goes well in the scan and you see your bubs sitting safely in there. Ultrasounds are torture for a pregnant woman... I remember being in absolute agony for my first scan cos my bladder was so full, they let me go to the loo to let out a bit. Thank god my pelvic floor muscles were strong then.
I noticed you are almost 8 weeks now. I remember I had my first scan at 6 w 4 days and it was only a dot with a heartbeat at that stage. It might just be possible that it was too early to see much when you went the first time and thats why your dates vary.
One time with DD they didn't let em let any out and he pressed so hard i peed myself a little i was sooo embarrassed but it was his fault for not letting me go.
This time round i had an AWESOME guy who said i didn't even need to do the water thing, it's not necessary!
Hope you make/made it ok and you get to see that everything is fine with your lil bub!
i peed b4 my scan, i had to i just couldnt hold on anymore!
then i used my hands as a cup to drink as much as i could b4 the scan!!! the guy knew id peed and was happy to take happy snaps while we waited for my bladder to refil.
good luck hun, the ultrasound man told me that so long as babies arent 4 weeks behind they're happy
It's just horrible isn't it?! The hardest thing they can do is ask a pregnant women to drink a heap of water and hold it!!!
I just wanted to wish you all the very best for your scan, I'd say you'd be in there right about now. I hope bubby has done a little growing to put all your minds at ease.
Bubs was happy & healthy, originally they put me back 10 days but yesterday they put me forward a week so today i am 8w6d not 7w6d

I kept wincing in pain and the guy kept apologizing LOL poor guy. I must admit tho, as soon as we are done and a run to the bathroom, the feeling of releif is awesome hahahaha
i drank too much for my 12 week scan and was BUSTING to go to the loo! i had too much in my bladder and had to go to the loo as bubs was puched too high! man it was sweet relief!
so glad all is going ok!!!
I was in pain for about 45 minutes after drinking all the water...NOT fun. Although suprisingly got through the water with ease this time, usually i struggle!

I really need to go to the bathroom...
i was sooo embarrassed but it was his fault for not letting me go.
