You girls are all further along than me -- when did your insomnia start? I'm not quite 5 weeks and I've had it since just before my BFP. I am desperately tired during the day and usually fall asleep at around 8pm, 9pm at the latest, but then I'm awake again around 2-4. Our alarm goes off at 5am, so by the time I fall back asleep I can't wake up again. It's SO frustrating! I have NEVER had problems sleeping, and have only ever heard of insomnia in the last trimester. No strange dreams yet though, but I always have very clear dreams...

I have had it from very early this time too. I am starting to have some good nights but still cant sleep for more than 4 or 5 hours. And when I remember them, very vivid dreams too.
Strange... am convinced it's a boy this time

I had it so bad last pregnancy, from early on too. What I find is some exercise during the day helps, slow down the fluid intake towards bed, and then Brauer's Insomia Relief (a homeopathic spray, got it from my health food store, I was skeptical, but it seems to work!) and a bit of self discipline in trying not to let my thoughts race - listening to music helped with that, I'd just stick some earphones in.

    It sucks doesn't it.

Hi Guys, Isn't it the pits.
I had it with my other two pregnancys but we are talking 11 and 7 years ago and until it started again I had forgotten. I think mine is a combination of things. Loo stops, sore lower back and other half snoring!!
