Ok, I'm a little anxious and wish the 25th June would come around quickly for my next scan (13 weeks). I had one at 7 weeks and I'm almost 9 weeks now.
I have been hiccupping like crazy this past week, after I eat normally, sort of like reflux but of course nothing comes up or anything.
I'm constipated a bit and today I have starting getting a sore back, it's my lower back and it pinches on something that heads down one side of my buttock and down my leg.
I am also getting some pulling sensations down below, they are quite active sensations too, not painful, just apparent they are there.
As I'm right off most vegies, I'm just worried I'm not giving my baby enough nutrients. I'm on ELEVIT every day and I incorporate capsicum, onion, broccoli and spinach into some things I eat each day but it's hard. All I feel like is soup! Bubs makes me pretty ill at night when I get home from work so I get confused as to what I feel like to eat.
I'm eating salt and vinegar chips in between some meals because I crave them all the time.
I hope Bubba is ok down there due to my diet.
Are these normal pregnancy concerns? Probably just worrying for nothing!!

You don't have too worry too much about your diet - because the baby is getting all the nutrients regardless of what you eat. But for your OWN health - try to eat as well as possible.
I'm just over my 12 weeks now, and I've barely had one decent meal in that whole time. I've been throwing up nearly every day, and nearly lost weight! But baby is doing well, and is a great size (had my scan 2 days ago).
I've had 3 huge packs of S&V chips too as it really helped with my m/s. I ate heaps of them with my first pregnancy too.
Capsicum & onions might upset your tummy a bit... so not sure about those.
The stretching on your stomach is normal... and just the body getting ready for the expansion. Hormones can do that too. Constipation - normal too... you can take some metamucil or fibre stuff to help that if you want (I asked my ob & he said thats fine).
The lower back pain - normal. The pain down one leg/buttock is sciatic nerve. I recently went to a physio over mine (just prior to being pregnant). To help that muscle/nerve... tighten your pelvic floor muscle (like your holding in a wee)... then tilt your pelvis (butt) forward a bit, and hold as long as you can. Do this a few times in a row... and do it as often as you can remember. When I had the pinched nerve, I seriously couldn't walk sometimes. But this exercise fixed it up within days!

: spelling mistake...oops
Exactly, bubs will suck you dry of all the good nutrients your body provides, its you thats got to sustain your energy.....
I think we're all guilty of either not eating anything/or eating 'norty' food in the 1st trimester....it will pass.....im currently craving green apples, and just cant get enough. !
I ate vegies in 1st trimester, but couldnt stand fruit.....the hormone level does subside after 12/13 weeks or so..and hopefully you will feel just a little normal again and feel like eating those foods we're told we should eat !!!
Don't worry you are going perfectly fine - i agree with what Jodie is saying, esp the sciatic nerve...just see a physio or chiro - i have been seeing a chiro for years for mine (with the same symptoms as you) and i go right up to the end of my pregnancy as the extra weight puts more pressure on your lower back.
Jodie answered you beautifully... Take heart in the knowledge that all of those little pains are your baby growing! That pain in your butt (!!!) is telling you that your body is producing all the right hormones... That relaxin is doing it's thing...
You've really eased my mind a bit (I am a worry wart). I am still having niggling feelings or twinges down in my uterus, it's been so active this past week!
