    Mayonnaise??

    Hi All -

I am currently 11 weeks (wow hoo!!!) and I have had a shocking diet so far due to terrible nausea and the fact that most foods and smells make me "bleurgh"!

I just wanted to check if anyone knows if "S&W Real Mayonnaise" has raw egg in it?

    Thanks for any advice!?

I thought it was only home made mayo you shouldn't eat. I think shop bought are ok??
I really don't know though, sorry.

Most shop bought mayos are safe to eat because they are pasteurised and have preservatives in them. I think if you store it correctly and don't eat it after it's use by date then it should be fine. Many do have egg as an ingredient though - if you check the ingredients list it should tell you. I just checked the ingredients of the praise traditional mayo we have in the fridge and it lists 'whole egg' as an ingredient.
