Thanks heaps girls! Ive been on the ginger beer today, gosh... its horrible. But if it works, I dont care.
I have thought about the morning sickness tablets but with B6 in them.. do my preg vitamins have B6 in it? Im not sure but Ill have a look because ide be worried that my intake would be too high.
Ive been eating small meals often today and it has helped to some extent. Ive also spent alot of time in the shower (3 showers in total) and that makes me feel a little better.
Fresh air did help today (ive locked myself in my house for almost a week...poor DD ) it was great until I had chocolate while i was out and about 2 mins after the choc, i instantly felt horrible again and came home. So I think my blood sugars do have something to do with it aswell.
its awful isnt it,ive found nothing much to totally help but a few are..small meals often, not too full and not hungry if i get one or the other it seems to set me off worse, ive been having warm milk and ginger nut biscuits before bed, seems to help with it in the morning but even ginger nuts are good anytime of day, ginger beer !!,if i get more tired its worse too so rest when can.i didnt get a chance to read the other suggestions just hope it gets better soon!
Morning sickness sucks!!!!!! I had it all day everyday from week 6 to week 17. Not really chucking but dry retching like you. Haaaaaaated it!! But everyone was of course telling me it's good to have it as the hormones are nice and strong Blah!!!!
What helped me was :
Blackmores morning sickness tablets with vitamin B6 (on top of elevit)
Plain mineral water (sparkling)
Coke (ahem.....)
Actually eating something, anything. The thought of food would first make me want to chuck but as soon as I ate I felt heaps better
Travel sickness spray in the mouth (only helped temporarily though..)
Sucking on fresh lemon
Dry plain cracker biscuits.
