I remember having stretching pain and what not with DD early on in pregnancy. But this time it seems to be more localised to one side. Im petrified of having an ectopic and hope this isnt what it would be. The pain comes and goes and is only sort of a dull ache.
I have just recovered from a bad cold where i was sneezing alot and putting strain on my abdo muscles by trying not to sneeze IYKWIM. Im hoping its just a strained muscle or something??
I cant get in to see my OB for another week, so only other alternative is ER which seems a little drastic at this stage.
What do you think, any comments would be appreciated. Thanks!
I had pains on my right side mostly and when i had really bad cramping one day i went straight to hospital and they did a scan and everything was normal. They couldn't explain the pains just said they were growing/stretching pains.
Thats completely normal. The doctor in emergency said they can usually tell if its ectopic as its very tender. But i would request a scan just to put your mind at ease
And no worries i know what its like to feel pains and freak out
And yes if it does dont hesitate and dont feel embarassed, i did and the doctor said its completely normal to feel that way. He said its hard to tell if bubs is alright and would rather be safe than sorry.
I had a throbbing kind of pain localized to the right side, i'm guessing in the ovary/tube area on and off the first few days after I found out i was pregnant at 4 weeks 3 days.
I have since had twinges and dull aches on and off that feel like very slight menstrual cramps, but I have been reassured by many folks that it is just stretching and growing.
as long as there is no bleeding with the pains its apparently normal.
