Our little one has a heartbeat

The locum ob was wonderful. We explained what happened at the last scan, and she just said 'right into the next room for a scan' and that was it - no stuffing around with bp or questions - straight to an internal and made sure that DH and I both saw the heartbeating. She did not measure the rate, but the baby is measuring right on 8wk6days - exactly where it should be. I wish she was our regular ob!

Now we can start to think about names - I had not let myself do that!

Thanks everyone for your support - it has been wonderful. Now I am wishing for the next 200 or so days to go smoothly!
