i am going through a midwife program through my public hospital. They are lovely and have delivered so many babies and there are always doctors on hand if anything goes wrong. It is your personal choice but if u do choose to go to an OB make sure you have a really good relationship with him/her.
Also dont always trust what you read on the internet. The best thing to do is to explore the options yourself as there is alot of scary info out on the internet that is not always true. Good luck with your first child.
